Electrotherapy for Hay Fever and Other Allergies

Do you suffer from hay fever or have a similar itchy eyes and runny nose response to pet fur or dust mites? Did you know electrotherapy could help to significantly reduce your symptoms?

Allergies are caused by an overreaction of the immune system to harmless irritants such as pollen, grass seed and animal fur.  When the inflammatory immune response goes into overdrive, it releases histamine, which is responsible for the itchy eyes and runny nose symptoms of hay fever.  This is why we take ANTI-histamines to reduce allergy symptoms. However, they can also have some unpleasant side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nose, or throat and upset stomach etc.

The good news is there is another drug free and painless way to reduce histamine levels.

A single frequency (10Hz) interferential treatment is used to calm the immune response to allergens at a cellular level. The 10Hz frequency has been shown to reduce the expression level of the inflammatory cytokine TNF-α which plays a role in mast cell degranulation and subsequent release of histamine.  Lower TNF-α levels result in less histamine being released, and therefore fewer allergy symptoms!

Best results are seen with regular treatment over a period of weeks. For more details or to book please get in touch with me at kateryanbiz@gmail.com
